Tonight, i'm off to my family friends 50th birthday party, well what they call a party anyway ;)
I'm going to be the oldest young person there which is aways a good time considering my inability to converse with anyone below the age of 13. I've never been good with family parties, my own family is hard enough let alone people who aren't my family, although I do feel i'm closer to my family friends compared with my actual family.
I'm probably overdressed but I don't care. I haven't been out in agessss so I haven't had the chance to dress up so I took this party as a good opportunity. A few weeks ago I found this fabric for $3 at my local fabric store and I fell in love. The colour is so nice and I love the pattern. I decided to make a twin set with it. I didn't originally plan for the top to turn out the way it did but i'm glad it did. I love both pieces together and seperately!
I dressed it up with my multi-chain silver necklace which is one of my favourite buys ever and bright purple lipstick, I didm't think it would work but the double purple actually looks really good (well I think so anyway).
Anyway, I hope there is good food there to keep me occupied and happy.
