I've recently discovered that i have a slight obsession with plants.. I don't know when it happened but all i know is that it did. I've never been a 'tree hugging' type person but now i can't get enough of it. My bedroom wall is covered in flowers and all I want is my room to be filled with plants. This is when the cacti came in.
I live in the downstairs of my house and its carpeted and messy so being filled with plants was never really going to be an option, but because of cacti' little need for water or looking after they were perfect for me. I went to to my nearest plant barn and snatched up four cacti for $15. The only pots I had at home were winnie the pooh ones from when i was a kid which i hastily painted white to match the colour scheme of my room. Sadly I only had three pots so i had to choose my favourites to use. I was so pleased with how they turned out and am hoping to get a few more in the near future!xoxo
