Last night I went to see Matt Corby live and I'm still in shock. It was at The Powerstation which is a bar in Mount Eden so it was a small, intimate show. We were near the back of the venue yet still so close. Beforehand, I was obviously excited and so happy that I was one of the few people who was lucky enough to score a ticket (he sold out so quickly) but I did not expect quite how amazing he was going to be. There was no elaborate set or fancy set up and that just made it so much more special. He was just so consumed in the music and it was the most amazing experience and hands down my favourite concert that i've been to. Not only was I mesmerised by his voice (and his face) but his aura was indescribable, it's just so hard to put the whole experience into words. He clearly loves what he does and I really hope that one day I find my 'thing' that makes me feel as wonderful as watching him do his made me xoxo
