So about a week ago I was browsin' the web and stumbled across an online store called The Iconic. It is an Australian based company that sources their stock from all over the world.
I was lucky enough to come across it while there was a 30% off everything sale. I went straight to the shoes and came across these three wonderful pairs. I sat for about and hour and a half trying to decide which pair to buy and then thought 'Hey, why can't I buy them all?' and the answer was 'I can', so that is exactly what I did. The total of all three pairs was $157 NZD, which is so cheap and due to the fact i spent over $100, I got free shipping too!
Now, about the shoes. The first pair (according to the first picture) are Windsor Smith and are called Ripple. I'm assuming this is because of the sole of the shoe which is jagged. They are so comfortable and are similar to the Clarissa Dr. Martens. They are going to be perfect for summer and are the first pair of sandals I have had in a long time (I tend to wear socks and shoes through all the seasons).
The second pair (the white ones) are from Lipstik Shoes and are called Creepily. They are similar to the Windsor Smith Lily's except the sole is more like a creeper instead of the chunky heel. This is perfect for me as I am quite tall so I don't like to add any extra hight when I don't have to. This are my favourite of the three and I can wear them as sandals but they also go with socks, so i will be able to wear them in the colder weather too.
The third pair are also from Lipstik Shoes and are called Maze. These shoes confuse me a little as I am not sure whether they are boots or sandals so I wear them as either depending on my outfit. These shoes, like above can be worn with or without socks, but they are the hardest of the three to wear, in my opinion. These have a slight heel which make them more dressy than the others and I would happily wear them when I go out.
Overall I am so happy with my purchases. Although i'm meant to be saving for my move to England next year, I needed some new shoes and the sale was just too hard to pass up! I hope you guys like them as much as I do...
Ellie xoxo
