I have been lusting after the Alexander Wang bralette for quite some time now and after coming across a 'How to' on a pair & a spare I decided to give making one a crack.
It took me a whole day and three mock ups to get to the final product and I am still not satisfied. I have discovered that it is not very easy to make a bralette that keeps 'my goodies' contained without keeping them completely undercover which, kind of, defeats the purpose of the bralette.
Although it may look ok in the pictures, it sits really weird. The part thats meant to sit under my breasts cuts halfway through them instead, however to to the nature of the fabric and the fact its not too tight, its not noticeable, but it irks me anyway. The seam that adds the roundness that is meant to sit half way across my breast is sitting nicely under my armpit which means the triangular part goes right around to my back. It's very hard for me to win in this situation because in order to keep my self nicely covered and secure, I have to give up the small dainty triangular cup which was the main point of the exercise.
