As I have finally finished university for this year (although I'm not going back next year) I now have free time on my hands to do what ever I please, while having to work a couple of days a week to go towards my savings.
While at Ike's emporium (a cheap craft shop) I came across this metallic silver fabric. It was a mission to sew and I turned to hand sewing for most of it but I was able to make these cute little shorts. For some reason they remind me of aliens and space (hence the name of the post). They were so simple to make and I made the pattern simply by tracing another pair of shorts! They'll be really easy to dress up or down and are light so will be perfect for the summer weather!
