It's getting close to the new year but the weather is driving me insane! One day it's hot, one day it's raining, this day was one of the latter.
The denim jacket I'm wearing is one I my favourite pieces in my wardrobe. I've had for a couple years now and I still love at as much as I did on the day I bought it, maybe even more. I got it from a vintage shop in the city for $40 and it was a good purchase! It has a leather collar and leather pockets. It's quite heavy and baggy and is a bit different to the usual denim jacket which makes me love it even more.
I'm wearing it with a simple box dress that I made (it's legitimately just a square with a hole for me head and two for my arms). To make it a bit more interesting I decided to make the bottom half in a red and white checkered fabric. It makes me feel like Minnie Mouse! The fabric is kind of see through though so I have to wear a slip underneath.
I hope you're all looking forward to the new year and have got something more exciting than what I have, planned (nothing as of yet). Can't wait to make (and break) my New Years resolutions!
